Some of Our Reviews:

Indian Creek Zoo is great! Not only do they have a great selection of animals to see (come on 3 toed sloth’s and camel rides!) Their customer service is fantastic! They make you feel like your at home. We have also used their banquet hall for multiple activities and they offered personalized tours for all of our guests! Needless to say, we visit often. Hats off to Joe and his team for creating a great destination for all areas in our area!

Today was the first time my daughter and I have ever been to this zoo. It was small but had a great variety of animals. My daughter got to pet baby wolves and got jumped on by a goat that accidently got out of its cage. You could get so close to almost all of the animals that you could pet them. Looked like there was some construction going on so hopefully next time we go back there will be more to see. We will definitely be back!

I drove all the way from Cincinnati to come check this zoo out. I specifically wanted to have a sloth encounter, and this was by far the best option I had. For the price and quality of the encounter I would give this place six stars if I could.

The sloth encounter entailed a zoo keeper coming and bringing us “back stage” by leading us to the rear access to some of the animal cages/habitats. We went through the back door to the big display the sloths were in. We got to feed and pet 2 two-toed sloths, Hokey and Pokey who were the cutest things ever. They were apparently too willing to be picked up so we were advised not to. Got some great pics anyway. The zoo keeper told us really cool facts about the zoo and the sloths, making it a awesome intimate experience

The rest of the zoo falls a little flat when it comes to presentation that you’re used to at bigger zoos. Some of the chain-link fencing was sagging but gave you a weirdly close experience with the other animals you wouldn’t have at other zoos where there might be a guaranteed 10 feet between you and the critters. You’re able to buy carrots in a souvenir cup to feed to some animals like the goats and alpacas but unfortunately not other animals that you might want to.

While this zoo has a little bit to go as far as presentation, it’s a nice, quiet, intimate zoo that lets you get close to the animals and offers nice, affordable animal encounters.

I loved it! Very casual walk through zoo. I took teenagers from Taiwan who totally enjoyed it! Almost all the zoo is in the shade of beautiful tall pine trees.
